The kids just wouldn’t understand it.

I have been sitting at my computer since 9 AM today, writing a program in C that was due two and a half weeks ago. It’s not finished yet, though. All but one — the most important one — of the functions work.

I’m ready to rip all of my hair out. I think I’ll print out what I have and bring it to class tomorrow. I’ll speak with the professor after class. Hopefully he’ll be able to tell me what I’m doing wrong. (On Thursday, the professor called my name — along with three others — to meet with him in his office after class. He’s been doing this everyday in an attempt to get to know the students better. I didn’t go on Thursday because I didn’t have my program with me and I had nothing else to discuss with him.)

Absorbed in my work, I’ve hardly eaten. All I’ve had thus far is two chewy granola bars, two cups of cranberry juice, and two small chicken cutlets. (I swear, the pairing of the food was completely unintentional.)
