My parents are throwing a party today to celebrate their birthdays and I’m making them juice:

This concoction consists of beets, carrots, oranges, apples, celery, and ginger. Beet and carrot juices are very potent dyes so it’s important to not get any on your clothing. However, even if you don’t get any juice on yourself, it’ll still be all over everything else: knives, cutting boards, counters, etc. If you’ll notice, the juice on the cutting board is smiling at me… (It’s a pattern from the lid of the pitcher after I’d finished juicing and poured the juice into a jar.)

The other juice I made consists of pineapple, carrots, apples, celery, and ginger. A lot fruitier than the beet one so I’m giving the partygoers an option between a veg-based juice and a fruit-based one. I hope they like what they try!
